The waitress enters with their check, Sam hands her a credit
card and she moves away from the table.

(to waitress)

If you are asking me when I'm going to
propose to you, then I don't know Lily, I
don't know what date I'm going to propose
to you on, sorry.
LILY
I'm not asking you for a date, forget it,
o.k, just forget it.
The waitress returns and puts the check on the table.
WAITRESS
Thanks you guys, I hope you have a
wonderful Valentines night.
LILY
Yep, thanks.
The waitress exits, Lily sits in silence as Sam signs the
check. His disdain apparent, he barely looks at her.
SAM
Ready?
LILY
Yep.
Heartbroken, a tear falls from Lily's eye.
